NURS 0131 - Introduction to Professional Nursing Concepts

This foundational course introduces the student to the role of the professional nurse and the nursing process as a tool for clinical judgment and evidence-based practice. Students have the opportunity in the campus laboratory to demonstrate safe performance of basic psychomotor skills and beginning communication techniques.

Pre-requisites: Admission to the ADN program and completion of NURS 0193.
