This program is designed to promote quality early childhood education for all young children, birth through age eight, and to improve professional practice in the early childhood community. Knowledge, skills, and techniques gained in this program will assist you in becoming competent in the field of Early Childhood professions. Successful completion of this program will enable you to gain employment in educational and social service settings serving young children and their families. Students may choose a series of courses that will lead to preparation for the entry level, National Child Development Associate (CDA®) credential. These courses bridge into the two-year degree, the Associate in Applied Science-Early Childhood Education & Development.

Requirements for Admission to the Program
- Reading and Writing scores of 250 on the Accuplacer tests
