Mission
The Fire Science program at KCKCC provides a venturous and progressive modern educational experience in all aspects of fire protection and safety.
NOTE
Students must be 18 years of age and successfully complete the KCKCC Fire Academy courses to qualify to take the Kansas Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations and Firefighter I & II certification tests.
Requirements for Admission to the Program
- Accuplaceer score of 243 or above in reading comprehension.
- Contact program coordinator for program-specific advising.
