This course is an introduction to basic nursing care skills and concepts necessary to prepare the student to function as a nurse aide in a long-term care facility.  This course will also prepare the student to take the state nurse aide certification examination. Students must pass a background check to complete the clinical portion of the course.

Requirements for Admission to the Program

  • Students must meet the correct placement measure for this course
  • Contact program coordinator for program-specific advising
