The Physical Therapist Assistant program, in accordance with the mission of Kansas City Kansas Community College, is dedicated to providing a student learning environment that will enhance and assess knowledge, clinical skills, and professional behaviors necessary for completion of the national board examination and successful practice as a PTA as outlined by the American Physical Therapy Association’s Guide for the Conduct of the Physical Therapist Assistant and Values - Based Behaviors for the Physical Therapist Assistant.
Requirements for Admission to the Program
- This is a selective admission program. Application to the program does not constitute admission.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA in program required courses and completion of pre-requisites (* below).
- Application deadline is April 15th for Fall start and October 15th for Spring start.
