Designed for two groups of students, Fundamentals of Music is for nonmusic majors interested in learning the basics of reading and playing music or for music majors lacking sufficient background to successfully complete Music Theory I. Course work covers fundamentals of music notation, piano keyboard knowledge, and writing basic notes, symbols, scales, chords, and intervals.
