MUSI 0221 - Music Theory III

The purpose of this course is to continue the studies begun in Music Theory I and II. This course will be concerned with the study of chromatic harmony. Topics covered will include secondary dominants, borrowed chords, Neapolitan chords, and augmented sixth chords. This course is a partner course to Aural Skills III MUSI 0222 , which reinforces many Theory III concepts via sight reading, dictation, and keyboard skills.
