Level 3 Reading for Academic Purposes is designed to expand students’ academic vocabulary, develop their comprehension of academic texts, and increase their reading speed. Reading strategies are practiced using complex texts covering a variety of contemporary and academic topics. More extensive reading of level appropriate books and stories is included to develop cultural knowledge and critical reading skills.
