ENGR 0152 - 3D Modeling Drafting With Inventor

This course is designed to introduce students to 3D solid modeling using Autodesk inventor professional solid modeling drafting software. Students will become proficient in creating solid models of gears and other machine parts from which they will create multi-view drawings. Students will also be able to create assemblies and to put these assemblies to motion using Autodesk inventor professional software. The student will additionally gain knowledge of machine drafting and design, tolerancing, fits, fastening devices, gears, cams, welding drawings, assembly and working drawings as well as an understanding of drafting standards and industrial drafting practices.
