INRW 0099 - Integrated Reading and Writing
3 Credit Hours
This course integrates reading and writing skills preparation, allowing students to bypass READ 0092 and ENGL 0099 . Students in this course will read and respond to a variety of college-level texts while receiving supplemental support. Students will simultaneously complete the expected learner outcomes for this course and ENGL 0101 while developing academic reading and writing proficiency and critical thinking skills.
Pre-requisites: Placement is based on multiple measures, including standardized test scores. Students who score between 227 and 255 in either the Reading or Writing sections on the Accuplacer will take INRW 099 and ENGL 0101 concurrently.
Notes: Students must also enroll in a corresponding section of ENGL 0101 while taking this course. Students will complete INRW-0099 and ENGL 0101 with the same instructor during the same semester.
