ECED 0260 - Early Childhood Internship


3 Credit Hours

In the Early Childhood Internship course, students apply, analyze, and synthesize their knowledge of children’s development and learning within the context of cultural, linguistic, and ability diversity. This course is a supervised practicum with a minimum of 15 clock hours in seminar and 90 clock hours in a Clinical Site approved by the program coordinator (e.g., accredited agency or approved site). Up to 45 hours may be completed in the student’s employment site with coordinator approval. Primary settings with NAEYC accreditation, or licensed early childhood programs for family, group, center, Head Start, faith based, public and private pre-k setting must be approved by the program coordinator.

Pre-requisites: ECED0100 level courses must be completed prior to ECED0200 level courses or completed in the concurrent semester.
