3 Credit Hours

Health, Safety, and Nutrition for Young Children presents knowledge of basic physical and mental health, nutritional standards and planning, and safety management practices for young children within the context of cultural, linguistic, and ability diversity. Targeted information on the role of adults to combat common childhood illnesses and injuries and identify physically and psychologically safe learning environments for young children.
