This course emphasizes the scientific aspects of criminal investigation by demonstrating the accurate recording of a crime scene by collecting, preserving, and examining evidence. Students will also focus on the techniques of criminal investigations through theory development, case preparation, and analyzing the limitations and capabilities of the scientific crime laboratory.
