CRJS 0116 - Juvenile Delinquency and Justice 3 Credit Hours
This course examines the historical precedents of philosophical reasons for treating juveniles differently from adults. It also reviews empirical evidence about child development that can illuminate the reasons for their special status within the system, the study of theories proposed to explain delinquent behavior, and a detailed overview of the juvenile justice system.
