CRJS 0102 - Introduction to Corrections

3 Credit Hours

This course will focus on the origins, processes, organization and contemporary corrections trends in America.  Students will examine the total spectrum of management, control, and treatment of juvenile and adult offenders.  In addition,  students will explore programs, practices, institutions, and philosophies that support corrections as an integral part of the criminal justice system.
