ACRT 0260 - Paint and Refinishing 2

3 Credit Hours

This course will give the student basic knowledge and skills in automotive refinishing. Basic procedures, safety and product knowledge are emphasized. Proper surface preparation along with introduction to refinishing equipment will be included. Paint code interpretation, tracking material costs and waste and application procedures are also part of this course. Complete vehicle detailing and solving paint defects is another area of instruction. Live customer work will be introduced.

Pre-requisites: ACRT 0100 - Safety and Orientation, ACRT 0101 - OSHA 10 and ACRT 0160 - Paint and Refinishing 1.
