RSCR 0220 - INTRODUCTION TO RESPIRATORY CARE

This course introduces the student to topics related to the role of an entry-level Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). This class covers health care organizations and structures, health care communications, medical ethics, medical-legal documentation, quality and evidenced-based respiratory care, electronic medical records, patient education and health promotion, and medical terms and symbols. In addition, students will investigate the areas of specialization within Respiratory Care.
