ANTH 0101 - Introduction to Cultural Anthropology

3 Credit Hours

The study of cultural anthropology includes the exploration of the nature of cultural variation and universals. Cultures are compared in terms of their cultural patterns, languages, societal differentiation, and personality types. Application of basic anthropological concepts and research methods are emphasized while examining how humans constantly adapt to their social and physical environments. Attention is given to career opportunities within the field of cultural anthropology.
